I Made a Halloween Nurse Shirt and It Might Be My Favorite Yet

Okay so listen. I know I said I wasn’t going to do profession shirts. And I definitely said I wasn’t going to do anything with nurses + Halloween + babies. But guess what? I totally did. Because sometimes, your customers tell you exactly what they want, and your job is to just say: “Heck yes, let’s do it.”

And now I kinda want to wear this every day in October. Even though I’m not a nurse. Even though I’ve never delivered a baby. Even though I’m 99% sure I’d pass out in the delivery room

Introducing: The Witchy Miracle Delivery Crew Tee 💀🍼✨

This one was made for the midnight mamas of the delivery floor. You know who you are — the OBGYN heroes, the pediatrics pros, the baby-whispering postpartum nurses who literally catch miracles for a living.

If you’re part of a labor and delivery crew, a peds nurse squad, or a Halloween-loving nurse practitioner who deserves a little fun with her scrubs… this shirt is basically your new uniform for spooky season.

It’s cute, it’s cheeky, and honestly? The little bassinets are giving me LIFE.

Why I Made This Shirt (A Short Story)

So a few weeks ago, I posted a design of some witches pushing carts (like, literal grocery carts) as a joke. It was totally unrelated to healthcare – just pure fall chaos.

Then I got a message from a NICU nurse who said:

“Okay but can you do a Halloween version for our delivery team? Like, witchy nurses with bassinets?? 👀 We call ourselves the Miracle Crew.”

Cue: the fastest Canva session of my life.

I took a break from my usual ghost designs and built this one just for her – three witches in red-cross hats, each standing beside a newborn crib. Halloween icons? Check. Friendly cartoon vibe? Check. Secret weapon for group photos on October 31st? CHECK.

Who This Shirt Is For:

  • Labor & delivery nurses
  • Pediatrics nurses (especially the ones who keep Halloween candy at the nurse’s station)
  • OBGYN practitioners with a sense of humor and excellent patient care
  • Student nurses and recent grads who just passed their boards (!!!)
  • **Any healthcare worker who survived night shift with a pumpkin spice latte and prayer 💀☕️)

Shirt Details (Because You Asked!)

  • Material/Type: Comfort Colors® tee in Blue Jean, super soft, garment-dyed, with that relaxed fit we all love
  • Purpose/Use: Team shirt for Halloween shifts, pregnancy unit groups, spooky socials, or nurse appreciation gifts
  • Occasion: Halloween, fall photos, delivery floor party, or nurse graduation
  • Audience: Pediatrics, OBGYN, L&D, NICU, postpartum nurses, nursing students, doulas
  • Feature/Style: Cartoon witch nurses with red crosses, sleeping newborns in bassinets, crescent moon, pumpkins, bats – all the cute stuff!

Why You’ll Love It:

  • Makes every nurse smile, even during back-to-back deliveries
  • It’s funny without being over-the-top creepy (no blood, just babies)
  • Instantly sparks convo with coworkers and patients alike
  • Looks adorable with joggers or tucked into scrubs

Great Gift For:

  • Nurse besties who deserve a treat
  • Peds and NICU teams you want to surprise
  • Labor & delivery squads doing the REAL magic on Halloween
  • Yourself. Because let’s be honest, you’ve earned it

Final Thoughts From Your Friendly Print on Demand Goblin:

I’m obsessed with this one. I mean it. I’ve made a lot of shirts – like, a lot – and this might be the most niche and lovable tee I’ve ever designed. It’s niche in a good way. Because while yes, not everyone is delivering babies in a witch hat… the ones who are? Deserve to be celebrated.

And if you’re part of a group that wears matching shirts during spooky season? PLEASE tag me. I will lose my mind (in the best way) if I see a real-life Witchy Miracle Delivery Crew post-baby-bounce session.

More Halloween nurse gear is coming. Skeletons? Check. Pumpkin spice IV drips? You bet. Ghosts in crocs? Let’s go.
